Lignano Sabbiadoro, March 30, 2026 – The 8th edition of the Lignano Boat Show, the benchmark event for small pleasure boating in the Upper Adriatic, concluded with an extremely positive balance.
Held over the last two weekends of March in the picturesque setting of Darsena Porto Vecchio, the 2026 edition confirmed the event’s central role in the nautical scene, drawing thousands of visitors, including enthusiasts and industry professionals. There was significant interest in the technical solutions and innovations presented by exhibitors, with numerous sales of boats and accessories testifying to the sector’s vitality
Beyond the exhibition and commercial aspects, the Lignano Boat Show strengthened its role as a meeting point for education, sports, and maritime culture. The 2026 edition saw the active participation of major educational and nautical institutions, offering young people and the public direct contact with professions in the sector:
– The ISIS Nautico “Tomaso di Savoia – L. Galvani” of Trieste, the Nautical Academy of the Adriatic, and the ISIS “E. Mattei” of Latisana presented educational paths and professional opportunities related to the maritime world;
– The free program curated by ASD Tecnomar by Gregory Biancuzzi engaged families and novices with practical activities dedicated to sea safety and basic techniques;
– Circolo Canottieri Lignano brought its sporting successes to the docks, helping to spread the culture of rowing and the lagoon among new generations.
The Lignano Boat Show confirms itself as a strategic driver for the economic and tourist development of the area between Lignano Sabbiadoro, Aprilia Marittima, and Marano Lagunare—a system boasting over 6,000 berths, specialized shipyards, and highly qualified services.
The event highlighted local know-how and manufacturing excellence, contributing to the development of related industries and consolidating the region’s position as a reference hub for national and international boating.
The success of the 2026 edition was made possible by the contribution of institutions, partners, and operators who supported and collaborated on the event. Special thanks go to PromoTurismo FVG, Comune of Lignano Sabbiadoro, and the staff of Darsena Porto Vecchio for their organizational support.
