CMC Design

Tappezzeria nautica

Our handicraft activity is adapted to the needs of the customers, realizing on requestupholstery products of various shapes, dimensions and materials.

The family tradition began in 1918 with Giovanni Nobile in Mortegliano, Udine, who produced and repaired harnesses for horses and donkeys and also dealt with upholstery and curtains. His son Euclid took over in the post-war period, directing the activity towards upholstery, mattresses and tarpaulins for trucks, with the drop in the demand for harness.

In the 1980s, Clara Nobile started a workshop in Manzano, combining craftsmanship and industrial upholstery production. Since the 90s, with the help of the family, the company has specialized in nautical upholstery, combining tradition and modern industrial techniques.

Today, the CMC continues to innovate, offering quality handmade products, combining design and tradition of Made in Italy.
